Cherry blossom and cricket traditional dipping bowl in beautiful red, pink, and gold leaf style. Hong Kong enameled around 1970. Marked ACF Japanese Porcelain Ware on the bottom. Would make a lovely dish to hold your rings on the sink's edge. Found, with love, in Northern Kentucky.
History of the piece; Enameled decoration was quite lucrative for Hong Kong shops in the 19th century and the porcelain trade was at an all-time high by the 1960's. It was during this boom that porcelain was imported from Japan to meet the demands.
